If you’re on the hunt for a Virginia winery wedding venue, Veritas Vineyard and Winery is the spot for you. From the mountain views and wonderful staff to their delicious on site restaurant and wines, Veritas has it all!

Aside from being my go-to winery to hang out with girlfriends, Veritas Vineyard and Winery is the perfect spot for a Virginia wedding. Nestled at the base of Afton Mountain, you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere on site that doesn’t have a gorgeous view. It’s about 30 minutes from downtown Charlottesville, with ample parking for your guests. 

If you want to stay on property, The Farmhouse at Veritas B&B offers six luxurious bedrooms. This is great for you to rent out with family and/or your wedding party.

After working a couple weddings at this Virginia winery wedding venue, there are quite a few reasons why I would recommend it to couples for their big day.

Veritas already has everything you need: the white ceremony chairs, aged barrels, linens, place settings, tables, chiavari chairs, AND catering. They are a licensed restaurant with a phenomenal chef that will work with you to craft your ideal menu. Not to mention their gorgeous options for ceremony and reception spots!

The go-to ceremony spot is out on the lawn overlooking the vines and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tented and sheltered from rain, the deck is available in case of inclement weather. If you’re getting married in the colder months, the working outdoor fireplace can create a more cozy atmosphere.

Primed and ready for your dream reception, the Saddleback Ballroom can accommodate up to 250 guests. There are floor-to-ceiling windows and exquisite hardwood floors, along with french doors that open up to the venue’s deck and lawn. Another opportunity to lay your eyes on the stretching views of the mountains! The ballroom has large white drapery hanging which creates a clean and neutral space to add design and decor that fits your wedding day vision.

On top of everything else, the staff at Veritas is amazing. They are always accommodating and eager to help and find solutions if a problem arises. Throughout the pre-planning and wedding day, their team does a fantastic job!
