As a wedding planner, knowing the beautiful mountain wedding venues in Virginia that couples should choose for their weddings is important. So if you’re looking for a Virginia wedding venue in the mountains, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s dive into a few of my favorites!
With beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, overlooking lush vineyards, Pippin Hill has a timeless aesthetic. The limelight hydrangeas lining the pathway to the entrance is a memorable feature among their meticulously manicured gardens. I love this elegant barn-style event space because it blends country charm with modern elegance. Pippin Hill also has fantastic food – they offer garden to table cuisine that celebrates Charlottesville’s local food producers!
This mountain wedding venue in Virginia, situated in the heart of Bluemont, is the perfect blend of nature and elegance. The house itself is super spacious, with many places to gather for getting ready. With unmatched panoramic views showcasing the surrounding mountains, the ceremony space sits on a charming patio. The walk from the house to the patio for the professional… Talk about a grand entrance! After the ceremony, everyone can head to the grand ballroom with floor to ceiling windows and gorgeous wood floors. The sparkling grand chandeliers in this space large enough for 300 people are my favorite.
Surrounded by sprawling vineyards and scenic beauty, this Virginia wedding venue is the perfect combination of rustic, elegant, and modern. Early Mountain Vineyards is a ways from the hustle and bustle of urban settings in the heart of Virginia wine country. I love the event hall with grand fireplaces and multiple hanging tiered light fixtures. This venue also has flexible indoor and outdoor spaces, which makes this a top choice for backup plans.
This family owned venue is located in Lexington, Virginia and is a picturesque farm wedding venue. With its 150 year old restored barn, mountain views, and 10-acre lake formed by one of Virginia’s largest natural springs, there’s not much you won’t fall in love with. Just wait until you see the weeping willow trees! Blue Spring Farm has a perfectly manicured lawn for tented receptions, along with a gorgeous veranda and patio. I love the veranda and patio as they could be used for things like cocktail hour or even for smaller weddings for dining al fresco.
Tucked away in Loudoun County’s wine country with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Stone Tower Winery provides the perfect backdrop for a mountain wedding in Virginia. This venue offers a range of event spaces in and around its grand main building, including a ballroom, multiple tasting rooms, smaller events rooms, patios, and their impressive wine-making facility. The original farmhouse, right on property, has also been restored as a bridal suite for getting ready. Throughout the venue, you’ll find a combination of rustic and upscale furnishings and finishes – from a grand bar to leather couches and a wine library. There’s even a tunnel that was built to hold a track for carts to transport the finished wine from the bottling room to the storage facility. I love this unique feature – guests can walk through it from the cocktail area to the ballroom for the reception.
The Virginia wedding industry has such a wide range of venues for any style of wedding and budget, and as a wedding planner, I have a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to these options.
