Logan + Ben’s garden party wedding was such a great day full of love. Their families played a huge part in their event, making it that much more special!
The original plan was a December wedding in a more industrial space. But, after seeing a post of ours about Airlie, they decided to tour that venue as well. After seeing the grounds, they quickly pivoted to a late summer wedding where they could take advantage of being outside. The plans went from industrial chic to a garden party wedding aesthetic, and we love how it turned out!
The beautiful florals in the wedding decorations and also incorporated into things like garden party dresses make it easy to create the right vibe. Keeping their guests’ comfort in mind, they had personalized fans for the ceremony, which is a great on-theme wedding favor.
Having family and friends contribute to your day is such a special way to infuse even more love into a wedding. Logan + Ben’s loved ones were all over this Virginia wedding! Logan’s mom, step mom, and dad did an epic speech together, while Logan’s sister made the invitations. One of Ben’s groomsmen played cello for the couple’s first dance, and Logan and her dad later tore up the dance floor in a fun, choreographed dance. Of course we can’t forget the hora which gets everyone involved! We were a little scared for Logan a couple times. She’s so tiny and was flying through the air on that chair! All of these little moments made up such a special day for these two lovebirds to cherish forever.
Speaking of the people who helped bring everything together, we were able to work with a few of our favorite vendors for this wedding, which is always such a treat. From DJ Craig to beautiful flowers by Berkeley to Claude catching all the best moments on video, the crew for this day was top notch. We also worked with the photographer Jonlaya for the first time at this garden party wedding. She was so full of joy and helped create a fun filled day.
