Four years to the date of their first date,

Abby & Justin tied the knot in Charlottesville, Virginia. These two embraced all the fall vibes with their barn wedding and mountainside views at The Barn at Turkey Ridge. From their loving ceremony accompanied by their dogs, to cocktails in the barnyard, to the reception and dancing inside, this wedding went amazingly!

This venue was perfect for this down-to-earth couple. It is very peaceful and private, with rolling pastures and hayfields, and of course the Blue Ridge Mountains. Once inside the barn, you take in the exposed beams and a copper roof that create a warm and inviting rustic atmosphere. We really loved the grand vintage chandeliers! The adirondack chairs in the grassy barnyard area were an added bonus, great for the guests to relax throughout the evening.

The weather was truly showing off for a late October wedding. The changing leaves created a picturesque backdrop.  The ladies looked incredible in their dresses of different styles and different shades of rust and blush, with the men in complementing blue suits. 

We were able to soften the barn up with features like twinkle lights and delicate and dreamy linen. Guest tables featured lots of greenery and baby’s breath. Simple details throughout the whole wedding, from gold foil leaves on their invites to the mountain scape on their vow books, really tied the whole theme together so well!

Abby & Justin are such a great couple, always laughing and looking for ways to grow stronger together. They have two sweet dogs who served as the ring bearers and were so well behaved and photogenic. Speaking of their dogs, Abby gifted Justin adorable groom cufflinks of their dogs faces – so cute!

It’s hard to choose which part of the day was our favorite.

We loved the Hora and seeing the joy on Abby & Justin’s faces as they were lifted in the air. It was so sweet when the mother/son dance started off with just the groom and his mom, but ended with the groom’s brother, sister, and dad all joining to make it into a family dance. We cheered with the rest of the guests during the streamer send off. So many amazing moments during this Virginia barn wedding, it’s hard to choose one!
